So they are using this to entrap people, to try and find people that are trying to buy weapons and drugs.

People do illegal things on the dark web for a number of reasons. People like the privacy, because it’s a way to hide their identity. It’s a way to hide their location. So they can do anything they want on the dark web and they can’t be found. People like the fact that they can purchase things anonymously. They don’t have to give away their identity.
